Voted Top Two Slot Machines For 2015-Do You Play These?

shutterstock_121653454The first gambling machine, similar to a slot machine, was invented by Sittman and Pitt of Brooklyn, New York way back in 1891. Compared to today’s RNG, computer driven machines, it was a clunker, literally.

Since that time, slot machines have improved and evolved into true electronic masterpieces, each costing as much as $10,000 or more. When you see the sea of slots in a casino you can understand the investment the casino has in their one-arm bandits.

New slot machines come out each year sporting everything from personalities like Britney Spears, and Marilyn Monroe. There are some named after TV shows or movies such as the Wizard of Oz and Ellen’s (DeGeneres) Dance Party.

Then, there are some slot machines that seem to stay with us. Their popularity stays pretty constant. This year, according to Strictly Slots magazine, there are two top winners for 2015. Both have been around for a while.

In second place is, one of my favorites, “Wheel of Fortune.” It is been number one for years but this year slid just a little. This game comes in various looks and denominations, but still holds true to the old game show with the crowd chanting “Wheel Of Fortune!”

Coming in as number one this year is Quick Hit. This was about the only machine I could win at on a cruise ship. This one has the progressive bonuses.

According to the December/January issue Strictly Slots the slots that came in 3rd, 4th, and 5th were Blazing 7s, Double Diamond, and Buffalo.
