Just crossing from one side of the Strip to the other can take courage and there are many activities available in Vegas that can test the courage of even of the most brave.

If you are a thrill seeker, let us recommend a trip to the Stratosphere Tower. Here you can earn your badge of courage.

The Stratosphere Tower is located at the far north end of the Strip. It towers 1149 feet into the air and is the tallest free standing observation tower in the United States. It is almost twice as high as the Seattle Space Needle.

Near the top of the tower is an observation deck. From here you can get a bird’s eye view of the Strip and downtown. On the very top, roof area are some very scary rides. There is the Big Shot where you can shoot 160 feet into the air and experience some cool G forces.

The is also Insanity the Ride where you will be dangled off the side of the Tower at 900 feet above the Strip. An octopus like turning arm will let you spin 64 feet over the side of the Tower along with other terrified thrill riders.

How about the opportunity to jump out a window via a zip line ride called the Sky Jump? A 40 mile per hour control free fall. Nothing like it.

You can check out all these activities and more here: here.
