shutterstock_144847273The time is now. This is the perfect time of the year to come to Las Vegas. People do come the year round, but some times are better than others.

Here are some reasons why now is the time. For one thing the daily temperatures are way down from the summer highs. The crowds, and prices tend to be down too.

There are already some tempting deals offered for this year. Big savings can be realized on the hotel prices during this period. If you book a combination flight, hotel, and car even more savings are to be realized.

Many hotels have lowered their rates, on specific dates during November and December, to as low as $24-29 per night for some decent 3 star properties like Circus Circus, Luxor, or Excalibur. Then, there are some of the 4 stars that start at $69 or less per night. Some of these include Mirage and Treasure Island. If you go for the luxurious and fancy, how about the Cosmopolitan or Aria starting at $98 and $109 respectively?

These are really excellent rates, but keep in mind that most properties will add a “resort fee” of up to $12-25 per night or more so you have to factor that in. Still, rates are much better than at most other times of the year.

A particularly choice week to visit this year is between December 3rd-10th . This is when the National Finals Rodeo will be in town.

This annual event adds a special flavor to the city. There will be an assortment of cowboys and cowgirls hanging out and, of course, at the Rodeo events. In some of the local casinos, like Samstown or Arizona Charlies on Boulder Highway, numbers of these rodeo riders and fans will gather. If you are a rodeo fan, all the better.
