Play These Games And Lose!
There are some casino games that are fun and get the adrenaline pumping, for sure. However, the odds of winning are so poor that it may be easier and cheaper to just write the casino a check and leave.
If you are one of the millions of people who love to play casino games you probably would like to win. Right? Now, some folks do play just for the fun if it and that’s their choice. They want to win, but it isn’t their top objective. They just want to have fun and are willing to pay for it.
If you are one who is in it to win some money then it behooves you to only play those games where your chances are best. As we have reported before, the top two games for players are blackjack and craps.
Today, we will expose the worst games. These games are fun to play, no doubt. If they weren’t they wouldn’t be in the casino and, the casino loves guests to play these games. They love that horrendous house edge that drains player’s wallets at a much faster rate.
One of the worst games to play is Wheel of Fortune. This is not the one seen in the game show. It is one that is plastered with different denominations of bills displayed around a large upright wheel. This game is also known as the Money Wheel, Big Wheel, or the Lucky Wheel. It should be called the Steal Wheel or Sucker Wheel.
The house edge on this game ranges from 11% all the way up to 24%. When compared to blackjack or craps, these odds are horrific.
Another bad game to play is Keno. Most casinos will have a keno area with seats and bar service. This makes Keno a good game to play if you want to relax, have a drink, and watch the balls drop and the numbers announced one by one. It is a slow game so it will take a while for each game be completed. But, again, your chances of winning are slim. The house edge on this game is 25% or more.
Finally, slots are some of the worst games to play and yet are extremely popular. If you have ever visited a casino you know how many slots there are. They are everywhere, wall to wall. The house edge here can be up to 25% in Vegas.
The problem is that you never know which machine has the best odds. In any one casino you may have a lineup of one particular machine and each one will have a different house edge or payout. The house edge on one machine may be as low as 1% while on the others it may be up to 25%. You will see some casinos tout a payback of 100% or more. This means on at least one machine there is no house edge. This, of course, is a loss leader to get you inside that casino.
Always remember, that every pull of the handle or push of the button is random. Theoretically, you could win the jackpot multiple times in a row and you can lose for long stretches too. It’s random.
