Now This Is Something Special For Valentines Day-How About 200,000 Lights?
Lights are nothing new in Las Vegas. The lights are one reason people come to Las Vegas. The light atop the Luxor is the brightest light in the world. And, I’ve heard it said, but not confirmed, that Las Vegas is the brightest city in the world to view from space. Don’t know for sure since I’ve never been out there.
The new twist this year is the lights lovers can see at the Ethel M. Chocolate Factory located south east of the airport at 2 Cactus Garden Drive, Henderson.
To get there from the Strip, just turn east on Sunset (borders the airport on the south) off of the Strip and go for about 4 miles. Sunset will turn right, but keep going straight, one block down turn left. You can’t miss it.
Visitors will see 3 acres of cactus blazing with 200,000 Valentine lights. This is certainly an unusual place to go for Valentines. While there take a tour of the factory and get a free chocolate sample.
