From time to time, we remind Vegas lovers that there are numerous worthwhile cultural activities in the area. In prior articles we have reviewed the Atomic Testing Museum, Mob Museum, and Neon Museum plus some other art venues. All of these are educational and beneficial diversions from the Strip or Downtown.
Yes, Las Vegas is mostly known for the food, shows, majestic hotels, and gambling, but there is much more to this city. So, today, we want to throw the spotlight on the Las Vegas Natural History Museum that is celebrating its 25th year. The museum is located just a few long blocks north of Fremont Street at 900 Las Vegas Blvd.
What does this museum offer? Quite a lot, and quite a variety of exhibits, something for kids and adults alike. Here is a short list of some of the exhibits currently on display:
