This Baseball Legend Opens Restaurant On Strip
You can’t walk far on the Strip without seeing a restaurant. They blanket Las Vegas. Finding food never takes long. The challenge is finding what you want and still stay within your budget. But, there is something for every taste and budget.
There seems to be a new restaurant or restaurants that open their doors every month. Recently, a new sports bar and restaurant opened on the Strip that carries the name of a famous baseball legend. His name Pete Rose, all-time hit champion. Rose holds many baseball records.
The Pete Rose Bar & Grill is situated across from City Center in front of Polo Towers. The 9,000 square foot facility, as one would imagine, sports a baseball theme.
There are several “Pete Rose Specials.” For Cincinnati fans there is Cincinnati Chili. There is a Philly Cheese Steak for Philly fans and a version of Poutine, a Canadian french fries dish, for the fans of the Montreal Expos.
This is a sports bar so you will see all kinds of Pete Rose and baseball memorabilia. If there is a game going on when your are there, never fear. There are 32 HD televisions strategically placed around the restaurant.
We all know that Pete Rose got into trouble for gambling. He is still banned for life from Major League Baseball. Rose is making a big gamble with his new venture in Las Vegas. Will it pay off? Only time will tell.
However, inside his establishment there will be no gambling at all, not even the traditional video poker at the bar.
