shutterstock_109520774One of the major players in the hotel & casino market in Las Vegas is Station Casinos. There are a lot of their properties sprinkled all over the area, from Boulder Station to the east on Boulder Highway to Red Rock Hotel & Casino way to the west near Red Rock Canyon. Chances are you stayed at one.

If you love the brand, you will love this good news. Read on.

Currently, Station Casinos owns all of these Las Vegas properties:

Red Rock Canyon

Green Valley Ranch

Boulder Station

Sunset Station

Palace Station

Sante Fe Station

Fiesta (two locations: Henderson on the south side and Rancho on the north side)

Here is the good news. Another classic, formerly “hot spot” hotel & casino will join the family. Station Casinos has recently purchased The Palms on West Flamingo.  This is a property that used to be where the young and famous, movie stars, and high rollers would congregate. The Ghost Bar was one of the draws with its incredible view of the Strip to the east.

The question is, what will Station do with this hotel & casino? The answer will determine whether the Palms will resuscitate its former fame or fade away. The Las Vegas Weekly has some suggestions. Read them all here.
