Historic Strip Show Will Go Dark Forever on February 11th
On November 2, 1994, Donn Arden passed away. Vegas visitors and locals may not recall his name, but Las Vegas gave him a rare honorary tribute. The lights on the Strip were dimmed in quiet respect of his death. This is one of the highest honors Las Vegas can bestow on a person. Last year the lights were dimmed for UNLV coach Jerry Tarkanian.
Donn Arden was a well known producer and choreographer of an era now past by. His legacy still lives though, at least until February 11th when Jubilee will end its 34-year run.
