Show cancelled!

One of Steve Wynn’s great productions is being cancelled. September 30th will be the last performance of Steve Wynn’s Showstoppers.

It’s interesting that the cast didn’t become anxious when the 15oo seat auditorium that houses the show was only filling up to 50% capacity. We have to remember that regardless of how good a show is, it is still show business. The objective of everything in Las Vegas is to make more money.

In the same vein, hotels may have to change the entertainment venues they offer. They will have to determine what it is people want for their entertainment buck. It’s known that a lot of the clubs are drawing folks away from traditional shows.
